Seemingly, alone

Seemingly, alone in a concrete jungle of control and fear

Easing my mind, through drops of corporate beer

Longing for the change that is looming near

Holding back everything, discovering nothing

Or is it the other way around

It can be hard to tell when one feels so down

One must always remain grateful

Must protect your spirit, do everything to insure you don’t become hateful

Can’t allow babylon to make you distasteful

Expect humanities betrayal

Cannot allow oneself to enable

The key is to remain playful

As if one is living in a fable

Bring your own happiness to the table

Allow your fears to be disabled

Our inner child, we must cradle
